Which marketplaces does Janus work with?
At launch Janus connects directly to eBay (US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and more) and Shopify, including Shopify POS. For TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Whatnot it creates ready-to-upload files and imports your sales. CardTrader and Mana Pool are planned during the beta. You can also record sales from card shows, Facebook or anywhere else, and Janus removes the card from your other listings.
Which card games are supported?
Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Gundam, Disney Lorcana, Flesh and Blood and Riftbound. Most are supported in English and Japanese. Sports cards are planned.
How does Janus stop the same card selling twice?
Every physical card is tracked individually. When it sells anywhere, Janus reserves it and lowers the quantity on every other marketplace, with removals handled before any other update. Each listing shows whether the marketplace has confirmed the change, so you can see that it worked.
Do I need a scanner?
No. You can upload phone photos. If you have an auto-feed scanner, save the scans to a folder and drag the folder in; Janus pairs fronts and backs for you.
Can I handle graded slabs and sealed product?
Yes. Slabs are looked up by certificate number where the grading company allows it, and sealed product can be added by barcode or search.
What is the founders price?
Anyone who subscribes to Pro during the 3-month beta pays $7.99/month or $79.99/year, and keeps that price for as long as they stay subscribed.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
No. Janus is a flat subscription. Marketplace fees are between you and the marketplace.
Can I leave and take my data?
Yes. You can export your full inventory at any time, on every plan.
